PROJECT 09 / TP2534

Vanity top, seat and trim

Four separate pieces, with the built-up front edge kept distinct from slab thickness.

DRAWING CHECK · 29 OCTOBER 2026

4 retained component records. These tables cover selected readable outlines, not the whole job. Mass and weight are gross estimates before sink and fixture deductions.

What was checked and what is still missing

Compared with the paper

  • Top 61.375 × 24.75; seat 32.5 × 12.875; trim 46 × 5 and 15.375 × (3.5 - 0.0625) checked.
  • Three-inch front edge is a built-up/perspective face, not 3-inch stone thickness.

Needs confirmation

  • Rounded corner radius and nominal sink dimensions are not deducted from gross rectangle.
  • Seat and trim positions/supports are not specified; schematic set is not an installation arrangement.
  • TP2534 density remains a quartz proxy.

The source images were visually reviewed; handwriting and field dimensions are not independently verified. Actual support positions and connection capacities are also unconfirmed.

THE PROJECT AT A GLANCE

Assembly sketches join only faces supported by the drawing. Other pieces are grouped as sets. These are reconstructed schematics, not AutoCAD exports.

  • Main vanity top: 20 mm drawing reading; 2400 kg/m³ (Assumed study value).
  • Seat: 20 mm drawing reading; 2400 kg/m³ (Assumed study value).
  • Long strip: 20 mm drawing reading; 2400 kg/m³ (Assumed study value).
  • Small strip: 20 mm drawing reading; 2400 kg/m³ (Assumed study value).

Per-piece gross estimates. Sink and fixture openings are not deducted. Blank results need missing inputs; support examples may use separate, labeled assumptions.

Related surfaces share one view. Each component retains its own dimensions, thickness and quantity; the spacing is schematic.

Measurements & calculation steps

Main vanity top

length: 61.375 in · width: 24.75 in · sink Center Local Offset Reading: 31.25 in · edge Corner Radius Reading: 1 in

A = (61.375 × 24.75) in² × 0.0254² = 0.980 m²
V = A × 0.02 = 0.0196 m³
ρ = 2,400 kg/m³ · Assumed study value
m = ρV ≈ 47.0 kg
Fg = mg ≈ 461 N

3-inch edge shown in perspective is a built-up/edge detail, not slab thickness. Handwritten material note indicates 2 cm. Gross slab rectangle before cutout. Perspective shows front and side edge faces. No independently dimensioned fascia cut list; do not manufacture an inferred pair of strips from the picture.

sink: length: 18 in · width: 11.75 in · corner radius: 2 in. Template and placement must be confirmed; not deducted from the gross outline.

Seat

length: 32.5 in · width: 12.875 in

A = (32.5 × 12.875) in² × 0.0254² = 0.270 m²
V = A × 0.02 = 0.00540 m³
ρ = 2,400 kg/m³ · Assumed study value
m = ρV ≈ 13.0 kg
Fg = mg ≈ 127 N

Seat rectangle reads 32.5 x 12.875 in. This is an unverified drawing reading; gross rectangle can be explored.

Long strip

length: 46 in · width: 5 in

A = (46 × 5) in² × 0.0254² = 0.148 m²
V = A × 0.02 = 0.00297 m³
ρ = 2,400 kg/m³ · Assumed study value
m = ρV ≈ 7.12 kg
Fg = mg ≈ 69.9 N

Clearly dimensioned nominal rectangle. Function is not inferred.

Small strip

length: 15.375 in · nominal Width: 3.5 in · deduction: 0.062 in · finished Width: 3.438 in

A = (15.375 × 3.438) in² × 0.0254² = 0.0341 m²
V = A × 0.02 = 0.000682 m³
ρ = 2,400 kg/m³ · Assumed study value
m = ρV ≈ 1.64 kg
Fg = mg ≈ 16.1 N

Width explicitly written 3.5 minus 1/16. Finished 3.4375 is arithmetic interpretation. Polish note and edge symbol are not openings.

WHY THE CALCULATIONS MATTER

Understand the material before planning the job.

Area and thickness determine stone volume. Density turns that into an estimated mass, and gravity gives its weight. These quantities support planning and discussion with the family business; supports, handling and installation need fabricator or qualified professional review.

Area → volume

A = L × D, or add rectangle areas
V = A × t
1 in = 0.0254 m

Table results are per component; quantity is shown separately. Sink and fitting templates remain notes until confirmed. Grouping does not combine different rooms or alternative sheet versions into one slab.

Volume → mass → weight

m = ρV
Fg = mg
g = 9.81 m/s²

Mass uses kilograms and weight uses newtons. A blank result means thickness or density is unconfirmed. Density assumptions and provisional readings remain identified in the calculation notes.
